This notice explains how personal data is handled when you use this website and request a trial of Lime LIMS.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
When you send the trial request form we receive: your organisation, your name, your role (optional), your e-mail address or phone number, and the message you write. Our servers also record the technical details of the request, such as your IP address and the time.
- To answer your request and set up your trial workspace. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and your consent given by ticking the box on the form.
- To protect the form from abuse (rate limits, spam filtering). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load resources from third-party servers. If you use the theme switch, your choice of colour theme is kept in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us.
Who receives the data
Data is processed on infrastructure located in Germany (European Union). We use a hosting provider and an e-mail delivery provider that process data on our instructions. A current list of processors is available on request at contact@limelims.com.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for 12 months, unless they lead to a trial or a contract, in which case the data of that relationship is kept as long as the relationship and legal obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a portable copy, and you can object to processing or withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contact@limelims.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
